You inquire whether, when the governing body of a municipality contracts with an existing public library for the furnishing of library services to such municipality pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1230, the municipality so contracting is entitled to representation on the library board of the existing public library. It is not. No provision exists therefor under K.S.A. 12-1222, or elsewhere, so far as our research discloses.
